AUTHOR'S BIO-- Angela Boone, a successful entrepreneur for more than twenty years as the owner of her own construction management and interior design firm. Angela became a successful publisher in 2002 when she published her first book, “Faith Cometh By Hearing.” Her success with that book led her to a full-time writing career as an author and screenplay writer. Her first stage play is titled, “ Live What U Preach”, and is currently being shopped in the market.

These books are just a few of the publication she was inspired to write dealing with issues of faith and everyday living. Her other titles include a children's book titled, “We Are All God's Children Let Us Pray, and Faith Cometh By Hearing (Romans 10:17), which talks about her experiences as a business owner in a male donated industry - a black woman who was determined to succeed.

Angela has been featured in several local, national and international publications such as the cover of Michigan Contractors and Builders magazine, which she was a contributing write. She was featured in the “Voice” a British magazine in 2005, and in November-February 2004-05 issue of Essence, under the title, Making It Happen, Creating Success and Abundance and the September 2001 issue of Essence Magazine, under the title, Wealth and Work, “How I did it”.

There has been dozens of articles published on Angela's success as a business leader in the community and as an author—featured in the Detroit News and Free Press, Front Page, Michigan Chronicle, Crain's Detroit Business and more.

Numerous radio and television interviews have taken place on several Detroit area talk shows as well as nationally and internationally. In 2004, she was a guest on WGBB 1240 A.M. in New York on the radio show: “Word Up Gospel”; WNOO radio in Florida; WXTC Heaven 1390 and “Premier Christian Radio”, in London, England, just to name a few.

Angela has taught and continues to host seminars and mentor adults and kids letting them know, that with God in their life, hard work and determination, there is a world of opportunity awaiting them.

In March of 2003, Angela was named as one of Michigan's Top 10 female business owners of distinction at a luncheon and awards presentation, where she received two awards. One given to her by Greater Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and Wayne County Clerk, Cathy Garrett.

As a motivational and testimonial speaker, Angela has spoken for the Michigan Department of Transportation as the keynote speaker on leadership and being lean and mean in today's society. January 16, 2004, Angela was the Keynote speaker in Muskegon, Michigan for their 8th Annual Martin Luther King Jr., Unity Day Breakfast, where 300 plus community leaders attended. Angela has also had speaking engagements with Lewis College of Business, Crockett Vocational School, Wayne State University's Women's Group, St. John's Congregational Church Sunday Morning Service, and Whitestone Baptist Church's Woman's Day.

Boone, a single mother continues to write and is an active member of her church. Boone will be releasing her first “Novel ” soon.
